Overseas Project Opportunities

Question: Where can you see your skills make a huge and tangible difference to people on the ground?

Answer: With an overseas trip with other CIP professionals to assist with a capacity building project in the third world.

Here are a number of short-term opportunities for CIP members:

HABITAT FOR HUMANITY - a charity that CIP supports

A non-denominational Christian charity dedicated to eliminating poverty housing, HFH is active in 100 countries. It has built or renovated more than 200,000 homes throughout the world.

Project
Housebuilding in a South African township

Location
South Africa: Ethembeni, a township near to the coastal city of Durban, in Kwa Zulu Natal

Dates
May 2007 – minimum of 7 days. Opportunity to follow the project with a few days’ holiday. Attractions include organised tours to Cape Town, game reserves, or Durban beaches. This can all be arranged for you.
